How to View Analytics
While you are in the account you are interested in learning analytics click on Analytics on the left toolbar
From here you have multiple types of statistics you can view
Period
The period tab will show plays or impressions by a period of time. You can change the periods of time, whether you’re seeing plays, impressions or durations of play time, and you can choose a timeframe. You can choose a bar chart or a trend chart, whatever is easier for you to look at. Hover over a place on the chart for specifics.
At the bottom left of the graph, you will see the Total Plays, Impressions, and Hours on Screen of the current Timeframe that is selected.
At the bottom right of the graph, you can click on Display Bar Graph or Display Trend Chart to view the graph in a different format.
Periods
The Periods drop down will let you set how much data the columns contain. If you don't see the period you wish to set, you may need to change Timeframes first.
Data Point
The Data Point drop down will let you set Plays, Impressions, or Duration.
Plays represent the number of times that your creative has been displayed on the digital billboard. 100 plays would mean that the digital billboard showed your ad 100 times.
Impressions represent the estimated number of people that your creative has been displayed to on the digital billboard. 100 impressions would mean that an estimated 100 people saw your ad, even if it was only shown 80 times, more than one person saw it each time.
Hours on Screen represents how long your ad has been displayed on the screen. 1 hour of time on screen would mean that your ad was displayed for 1 hour, accounting for 8 seconds of display time per each of the 450 plays. Seconds of display time varies between operators but is typically between 7-10 seconds.
Timeframes
The Timeframes drop down will let you set the timeframe you wish to look at.
You might want to choose a custom time frame: click custom, and click on the calendar icon, from there you can pick the start date and the end date in which you want to look at.
Creatives
The creatives tab will show impressions, plays and time on screen for each individual creative for any time period that you choose. This is great for realtors to tell their clients ‘I advertised your home 1,000 times in the last 30 days.” If you click on this arrow here, you can see any changes that creative has experienced, the most typical case will be price changes.
Campaigns
The campaign tab will show impressions, plays and time on screen for each campaign for any timeframe that you choose. There is just one campaign in this case, but there could be multiple here.
Screens
The Screens tab will show impressions, plays and time on screen for each billboard for any time period that you choose.
